This is a collection of 10 songs that changed my life in some way or another.
What can I say, I just love music!
(in no special order)
Soon, a post about lounge-time music.
Do you still remember that Tsunami that hit Thailand in December of 2004? You got to. Yeah, no one forgot about this tragedy…
But, if you can handle some more images and want to see how a country raises from the ashes, you definitely want to check this gallery: Thailand Tsunami: Then and Now.
Such powerful images.
I don’t like the Oscars. It’s like… a couple of winners and a bunch of losers.
What’s the point of having this ceremony when Baftas and Golden Globes were already given out and the Academy just follows their lead? Couldn’t they be original?
Well, at least they pick Crash as Best Motion Picture.
The best:
- Jon Stewart with his sharp humor and fast thinking.
- Three 6 Mafia accepting the award for Best Original Song - hillarious and by far the most excited group of all Kodak Theatre.
The worse:
- the always too-predictable Academy…
P.S.: if you haven’t seen Memoires of a Gueisha go and be amazed. Such a great photography work! Oh, did I mention it got 3 Oscars?
The only problem about this film is that it’s a Japanese story, interpreted by Chinese people mainly and spoken in English… Quite a mix, heh?
